My journey to joy and well-being
Welcome to Laughter Yoga Sydney. This is my story – the passion, the journey, and the heart behind bringing laughter and connection to individuals and organisations across Sydney and NSW. Discover what drives me and how I can bring a dose of joy to your world!

The spark behind Laughter Yoga Sydney
Laughter Yoga Sydney began with a deeply personal journey. Growing up, I witnessed my mother's struggles with depression, anxiety and suicide attempts, as well as her eventual suicide in 2001, igniting a lifelong desire to help others find solace and joy. Absent father abandonment issues and bouts of obesity were also part of a rather unhappy childhood. My background in stand-up comedy naturally led me to appreciate the power of humour. Then, in 2011, a breast cancer diagnosis prompted me to embrace holistic well-being using therapeutic laughter, exercise, nutrition, vitamin C, reading, relaxation and meditation. This was done in conjunction with a mastectomy, breast reconstruction surgery, and a year of chemotherapy. Other surgeries and experiencing the symptoms of breast implant illness years later led me to appreciate the value of good health and preventative health practices.
This path led me to Laughter Yoga. I completed my Laughter Yoga Leader training in Sydney in 2013, followed by my Laughter Yoga Teacher training in New York in 2017. Seeing the immediate benefits and pure joy it brings to participants fuels my passion to facilitate these laughter and stress management workshops and sessions every single day.
After contributing to four multi-author books, my first full length self-help book on the therapeutic uses of laughter will be published in 2026!

A unique flavour of laughter and connection
What makes a Laughter Yoga Sydney session special? It’s a blend of professional expertise and a whole lot of heart. My stand-up comedy background, combined with training in areas like Louise Hay Heal Your Life workshops, life coaching, and EFT Tapping, allows me to deliver sessions that are not only fun but deeply impactful, with an emphasis on stress management. I genuinely believe in and practice what I teach.
